Supporting Northampton and District Mind - The Trevor Lugg Memorial Match
Northampton Royals held a charity football match on Sunday 18th August 10.30am at Cogenhoe Football Club, In memory of Trevor Lugg.

The match was free for anyone to attend and everyone who did thoroughly enjoyed the day.
A whopping £1469 was raised and donated to support Northampton and District Mind.
We would like to thank all who support Northampton and District Mind. With your support, much needed mental health services will remain open and available for all who need it.

Flying High for Fundraising
A Big Thank You to Natalie Briggs and Staff from Renaissance Hair Stylist, for raising a fantastic £300 by doing a sky dive in aid of Daventry Mind.
On behalf of our service users, staff & volunteers at Mind, We would like to thank you so much for your donation. Your support for Mind will help us to deliver more services which will help peoples’ recovery in our local community.
Greencore Day of Fun
On July 13th Greencore had a family fun day for Greencore colleagues and their family’s to get together and have fun, activities included tombola's', fair ground rides and a bucking bronco.
Greencore raised a whopping £1369.38 and all funds raised were donated to Northampton and District Mind.

Thrapston Town Council
The Northampton and District Mind team would like to say a massive Thank You!! to Thrapston Town Council for choosing to support us as their Charity of the Year.
As a thriving market town, Thrapston Town Council do their best to support their local community. It is estimated that 1 in 6 people will experience a common mental health problem within the past week (Mental Health Foundation).
Mental health problems affect all of us in some way on a daily basis, it is vital that appropriate mental health services are made available and are accessible for those individuals and families who need support within our local community.
To find out more, come down to one of our coffee mornings in August, to have a cuppa and a chat about what can be offered to support anyone who is experiencing mental health challenges.

Cheque Out Marks' Money for Mind
Following Counsellor Mark Morrells' announcement in 2018 that Brackley Mind was chosen as their charity of the year. Northampton and District Mind has received overwhelming support from the local community.
Surprisingly, the 11th of May 2019 saw our Towcester services manager, Jo Webb and 'ex mayor' and current Brackley Mind volunteer Theo Hayward, humbly accept a cheque for a whopping £5000 given by Counsellor Mark in order to support Northampton and District Mind services in Brackley.

The Drum and Bass, for mental health
A Massive thank you to Andrew Tiller and the staff at the Red Lion, Brackley for raising a whopping £800 for Northampton and District Mind's Brackley Service.
Dedicated to supporting and raising awareness for mental health, Andrew organised a drum and bass night which was hugely successful and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
This brilliant and successful event became so popular that Andrew has already begun planning to repeat the event in August.
The Northampton and District Mind team would like to say a massive THANK YOU!!! to everyone who attended the event and helped to make it the success it was.
Northampton and District Mind's Daventry service has been nominated by Sheaf Street Health Food Store in Daventry, to be the recipient of funds from Viridian Nutrition Charity Donation Programme.
Viridian Nutrition have very kindly given us a cheque for £250, which has been gratefully received.The money donated will be used to fund the literature and resources for our New course "The Freedom Project" which will run in September.

A Massive heartfelt WELLDONE!!!! to Jo Gregory who recently ran the Milton Keynes half marathon in aid of our Towcester branch of Northampton and district Mind.
Jo has raised over £800 single handidly to support the Mind services in Towcester. On behalf of all the Northampton and District Mind team ……….THANK YOU JO GREGORY!!!!!!
A group of University of Northampton, 2nd year BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing students have raised a staggering £2130.65 from their 'independently organised 'live event fundraising activities.
The fashion marketing students supported Northampton and District Mind as their chosen charity and 10% of all funds raised from this event has been donated to us, in order to support the important mental health services that we provide for all members of the community.
Northampton and District Mind's frontline manager; Paul Marshall stated that
"the event was a great success and it was a pleasure to be invited and attend. It was a fantastic turn out with a real vibrant atmosphere. The compere had the audience clapping and cheering as the models owned the catwalk with their fashionable designs. I was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed it very much".

As a response to the sad death of Keith Flint from the Prodigy, who took his own life back in March?
Chasers Bar in Daventry wanted to pay tribute to Keith Flint, by recognising their must be others feeling the same way.
Steven & David from Chasers Bar came together to, raise awareness of Mental Health to their local community, they wanted the money raised to go to Northampton & District Mind, Daventry services.
The night was a fantastic event and raised £500 towards our work.
