We are pleased to announce that the new Mayor of Brackley, Councillor Mark Morrell has chosen Brackley Mind as his charity for the year.
We wish him well in his year of office.
Brackley is situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. Historically, Brackley became famous for building local businesses in the wool and lace trade. However, in recent years formula one racing has firmly put Brackley on the map, with Silverstone racing circuit a mere stones throw away and Brackley being the home of Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team which is based in the town, and the Force India F1 team which operates a wind tunnel on the former site of the north railway station
Events at Brackley
Sunday August the 19th, saw Brackley's annual classic car show, 'Classic vehicles in the Park', kick off to a spectacular start with a lively and passionate crowd of spectators joining in the fun. A great day was had by all and everyone gave generous donations, with proceeds going to all of the Mayor's charities.
On behalf of the Northampton and District Mind team, we thank the people of Brackley and all who visited us that day, for your kind generosity and support for our charity.
